We get it — going green can feel a little overwhelming. But it doesn’t have to be! Here are some easy ways to make your salon more sustainable (without flipping your world upside down):

• Recycle your foils: Rinse, scrunch into a tennis-ball-sized ball, and pop them in the recycling bin.
• Switch to energy-saving tools: Choose efficient dryers, straighteners, and LED lighting.
• Buy in bulk: Less packaging = less waste.
• Recycle empties: Colour tubes, product bottles, the lot.
• Support purposeful brands: Choose those that care about the planet.
• Ditch single-use: Swap out disposables for reusable or biodegradable options.
• Educate your guests: Share your eco-efforts and inspire change.

Can our foils be recycled?

Absolutely! Just follow these three easy steps:

1. Rinse off any colour residue
2. Scrunch into a tennis-ball-sized ball (or bigger)
3. Toss it in the recycling bin and voila - you’re a recycling pro!

Are our foils made from recycled aluminium?

Yes – partly! Like all aluminium foil, ours is made from a mix of recycled and raw aluminium. The ratio depends on what’s available at the time.

Why not 100% recycled? Because foil made purely from recycled aluminium would crumble - it just can’t hold its shape after being recycled too many times (we know, were surprised too!).

The good news? Aluminium is infinitely recyclable, so today’s foil could become something entirely new tomorrow - and that cycle can keep going forever!

Yes, we love aesthetics, but we love the earth more. Every foil we create is designed with care - not just for hairdressers, but for the world we all share.
