Foil Me Founder Space: Interview with Emma Duncan from Halo Hair Collective

Last week, Foil Me’s Co-Founder, CEO and Creative Director, Emily Ciardiello, sat down with fellow entrepreneur and mum, Emma Duncan, to discuss her journey to becoming the founder of Halo Hair Collective.

What began as a childhood dream quickly flourished into something more. At the age of 14 Emma left school to pursue a career in hairdressing, a bold decision that has since proven undoubtedly worthwhile. Years later, after a brief hiatus to explore different ventures, Emma returned to hairdressing with a renewed sense of passion and certainty that ultimately inspired her to create Halo Hair Collective.

Combining hard work and dedication with unwavering passion, Emma attributes her career success to exactly this.

“There’s a lot of stigma around hairdressing… it’s hard work, and I think that if you want to go somewhere in this industry you have to work hard.”

From her beginnings as a determined solo salon owner, Emma now proudly entrusts her incredibly talented team to accommodate their ever-growing clientele. A testament to their remarkable success, Emma and her team are not only renowned for their phenomenal work, but also for how they make their clients feel.
