For the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), Foil Me create and offer exclusive breast cancer research designed hair foils where they donate $1 from the sale of each box for their yearly Pink October campaign. It has been inspiring to watch Foil Me grow as a business and find opportunities for our partnership to grow too, always keeping NBCF close.
Foil Me’s main goal for the partnership is to ensure their influence and success can assist NBCF in achieving our goal of Zero Deaths from breast cancer by 2030.
For their 2020 campaign, ‘Ten ‘Till Never Again,’ Foil Me donated a portion of the sale price of their foils, brushes and t-shirts. This was combined with running their annual ‘Pink October’ and ‘Pink Day’ awareness campaign where salons and businesses dress themselves in pink. The salons and businesses then share their photos and videos on their social media accounts, tagging @foilmefoils and the @nbcfaus account and the hashtag #tentillneveragain.
Though Victoria’s salons were mostly closed during last year’s campaign due to the pandemic, Foil Me still managed to involve more salons than ever before, increasing the total funds they raised for life-saving breast cancer research compared to 2019. We’re so grateful for their efforts in such a difficult year for the beauty and hair industry and we are excited to see what they will achieve this year.
